TOP PERFORMERS
Dominic Artis, Salesian-Richmond boys, scored 13 of his game-high 24 points as the top-ranked Pride defeated San Leandro in the GameTime East Bay Classic at Chabot College-Hayward.
Roderick Bobbitt, Castro Valley boys, had 28 points in a 54-47 win over San Lorenzo.
Jabari Brown, Oakland High boys, made quite a debut for the Wildcats, with 33 points and 10 rebounds in an 88-81 win over Sacramento at the Father Kelly Showcase in Carmichael. Brown transferred from Findlay Prep-Henderson, Nev. earlier in the week after transferring from Salesian in June.
Zach Corby, Concord boys, had 58 points as the Minutemen split two games.
Corinne Costa, Liberty-Brentwood girls, had 40 points in two Bay Valley Athletic League wins.
Andrew Garner and Nick Blount, Freedom-Oakley boys, averaged 26.5 and 24.5 points respectively in wins over Pittsburg and Liberty.

Emily Klein, Marin Academy-San Rafael, combined for 47 points as her team split two games.
Kelsie Niemetz, Drake-San Anselmo girls, scored 50 points as the Pirates split two Marin County Athletic League games.
Cara Piazza, Oceana-Pacifica girls, had 28 points in a 65-53 win over El Camino-South San Francisco.
John Green, Castlemont-Oakland boys, had 28 points, seven rebounds and five steals in an 85-73 nonleague win over St. Elizabeth-Oakland.
Erica Payne, Carondelet-Concord, had a combined 39 points in two lopsided East Bay Athletic League victories.
BIG WINS
Heritage-Brentwood girls: The Patriots (13-1) showed their No. 20 ranking was justified with a first-ever win over three-time defending Bay Valley Athletic League champion and 12th-ranked Deer Valley-Antioch 64-61, behind freshman Lexi Campbell's six three-pointers and 21 points.
Lincoln girls: Hallie Meneses and Stephanie Lu had 21 points each as the visiting Mustangs (12-3) stunned perennial national champion Sacred Heart Cathedral 69-57.
San Ramon Valley-Danville boys: The Wolves (13-1) proved their No. 8 ranking is no fluke, defeating No. 4 and host De La Salle-Concord 49-45. Chris McNealy and Tad Fisher combined for 30 points.
St. Mary's-Berkeley girls: Cody Sims and Danielle Mauldin had 16 points each as the No. 4 Panthers (11-2) pulled out a 46-43 win over Piedmont, which then beat previously undefeated St. Joseph Notre Dame-Alameda 44-37.

Bishop O'Dowd-Oakland boys: Since back-to-back losses to state-ranked Los Angeles powers Taft and Price, the No. 6 Dragons (10-3) have won five straight by an average margin of 29, including a 55-43 win over No. 13 McClymonds-Oakland on Saturday.
Analy-Sebastopol boys: Since a loss to Amador-Sutter Creek on Dec. 5, the Tigers (13-1) have won 10 straight, including a dramatic 74-68 Sonoma County League opener over Casa Grande-Petaluma.
